Your questions, answered

What luggage should I take?
We highly recommend having fitted luggage for your classic car. This ensures that all the available luggage space is used, and you won’t experience an explosion of small bags that have been stuffed in the little nooks and crannies (and associated arguments, and damaged fingers!!). What should I pack?
Please download our useful Packing List from the Classic Travelling website for a comprehensive guide to what to bring for both yourself and your car. Don’t be that person struggling to carry too much luggage into the hotel each night. Pack clothes that don’t really need ironing and can be worn a few times or in different combinations. On our group tours we ask that you dress smart-casually for group dinners. Many hotels have laundry facilities.
Is there a dress code in the evening?
We respectfully ask that you change from your driving clothes for dinner. We aim for smart-casual: no blue jeans, no trainers, no fleeces, no hats/caps.
Will my car be suitable?
For our accompanied group tours, all we ask is that you have a classic, vintage, or sports car, of any age. This includes modern sports cars. Please still ensure your car is properly maintained and serviced well. We also recommend that you have European breakdown cover (obtainable either from your insurance provider or breakdown service provider).
